Israeli soldiers spat at Armenian archbishop

Several soldiers of the Israeli defense army were detained on suspicion that they spat in the Armenian archbishop and other pilgrims during a procession in Jerusalem at the beginning of this month, the local publication Zartonk Media.

One of the detained soldiers who was soon released said that he spat only on the ground, and not on pilgrims. A decision was made to bring two to disciplinary liability for “disrespectful behavior.”
