Istanbul: meeting of assistants to heads of states of OTG countries took place

In Istanbul, an informal meeting of assistants/advisers on foreign policy of the heads of the Member States of the organization of Turkic states (OTG).

Information about this was distributed by the press service of the organization.

The meeting was attended by officials of the OTG Secretariat, as well as the delegation of member states to discuss the relevant issues of the organization’s agenda.

During the discussion, attention was focused on the development of the activities of OTG, the need for closer cooperation between member states in the political, economic and humanitarian spheres was emphasized.

The meeting participants also affected the issues related to the organization of the upcoming X summit in Kazakhstan, emphasized the importance of documents that will be signed during the summit, in terms of strengthening relations in the Turkic world and promoting common goals.

The negotiations also discussed the issue of expanding cooperation with international and regional organizations. The delegations have studied potential opportunities for cooperation and joint initiatives to promote stability, prosperity and peace in the region and beyond.

The meeting served as a platform for constructive dialogue and strategic planning in accordance with the obligation of OTG to promote deeper cooperation between the Turkic states in a changing global environment within the concept of “vision of the Turkic world-2040” and the strategy of OTG for 2022-2026.
