Italian prosecutor’s office demanded six years in prison for Berlusconi

Milan’s prosecutor’s office demanded that the former Prime Minister Silvio Berlusconi be appointed six years in prison in the case of bribing witnesses in another process on charges of using minor prostitutes. According to the La Repubblica newspaper on Wednesday, the charge requires confiscating the politician of 10 million as a “fine”.

85-year-old ex-Prime Minister is accused of bribing witnesses in the case of the use of minor prostitutes, who received the name of the main person involved-Moroccan Ruby (Karima El Mar (Karima). Earlier, the politician was fully acquitted in all courts, but the process relied on the testimony of witnesses – girls who visited the personal villa of Berlusconi. Later, the prosecutor’s office suspected them of perjury for the reward.

Among the defendants in this process are 28 people, including 20 girls, including Ruby herself. All of them are asked to be sentenced to 5 years in prison, as well as fines. During the indictment, the prosecutor said that Berlusconi created a “network of sexual slavery.”

According to the defense, the politician, the leader of the party “Forward, Italy” and the European Parliamentarians will be justified, since the accusations are inconsistent and unproven. The primary instance verdict should be published no earlier than September.
