Italian “Robinson Cruzo” will be evicted from island where he lived 30 years

Former physical education teacher Mauro Morandi, settled on the uninhabited island off the coast of Sardinia about 30 years old, told RIA Novosti that he was asked to leave this territory.

In 1989, Morandi moved to Budili – part of the sushi area of one and a half square kilometers. He settled in the old building, which during the Second World War was a radio station.

Place began to attract tourists because of the rose sand on the beach, and the leadership of the National Park of the La Maddalena Archipelago National Park decided to rebuild the old building, which resulted in the need to evict Morandi.

Morandi noted that she is ready to return to the island after repair, he has enough teacher pension to life. At the moment he is looking for removable accommodation on the central island of the archipelago.
