Japan raised fighters because of Russian aircraft

Japan’s air defense forces on Wednesday night raised fighters into the sky to observe, presumably, four Russian aircraft that took a span near the Japanese airspace. This statement was made by the United Committee of the Chiefs of Staff of the Ministry of Defense of Japan, TASS reports.

According to information, planes flew near the Japanese airspace near the Northern Hockey Island. At the moment, the type of Russian aircraft is not indicated.

Over the past two months, the Japanese Air Force made 165 emergency sorties in connection with the approach of the air of Japan of aviation of other states.
