Japan’s largest banks stop dollar transactions with Russian Sberbank in accordance with the US sanctions entered earlier, Kyodo reports.
It remains unclear whether transactions conducted in other currencies will be suspended. The publication notes that a number of Japanese banks in the implementation of operations in foreign currency uses only US dollars.
