Jamist Jamil Mammadli is recognized as accused. This decision was made on the eve of the Khachmaz District Court.
According to TURAN, the court accepted the proceedings in the order of a private criminal charge, filed by the head of the executive authority of the Gubin district Ziyidden Aliyev.
Court recognized Mammadli accused under Art. Art. 147-2 (slander about committing a grave crime) and 148 (insult) of the Criminal Code.
Journalist rejected the charges, calling them contrived and having a goal to punish for his professional activities.
