The granddaughter of the 35th US President John Kennedy Conor was a volunteer in Ukraine. He reported this in his Instagram account.
28-year-old Conor Kennedy said on Instagram that this year he fought in Ukraine, but did not specify exactly where and how long. “I was deeply touched by what I saw in Ukraine over the past year. I wanted to help. When I heard about the Ukrainian international legion, I knew that I would go and went to the embassy to sign up the next day,” he wrote.
The young man explained that he took part in the war because of the love of democracy. At the same time, he emphasized that he took part in hostilities not under his name.
Konor Kennedy is the grandson of the former US Prosecutor General Robert Kennedy and the grandson of President John Kennedy.
