The West’s reaction to the suspension of Russia participation in the contract for a reduction in strategic offensive weapons (DSNV) does not give a reason to hope for readiness for negotiations.
This was announced to reporters by the press secretary of the President of the Russian Federation Dmitry Peskov.
“We see the first reaction with you. It is quite consolidated among the representatives of the collective West. This reaction, of course, does not give us a reason to hope for some readiness for dialogue or negotiations,” he said.
The Kremlin representative noted that Russia will be ready to return to the implementation of the DSNV as soon as the West is ready to take into account its concern.
