Kremlin on timing of CSTO from Kazakhstan

CSTO’s military mission was not deployed in Kazakhstan in one day, therefore its conclusion will not happen simultaneously, the press secretary of Russian President Dmitry Sadkov said, reports RBC.

Peskov asked why the CSTO’s military contingent is withdrawn so long, although they introduced them quickly.

“Why ten days, not one – actually in one day the mission was not deployed. It was deployed for a certain number of days, but in this case it is all coordinated by the CSTO,” said the spokesman for the head of the Russian state. To the question why the Russian contingent will leave Kazakhstan in the last, he replied that “it decides the CSTO.”

Peskov also asked if the enhanced guard of the Baikonur cosmodrome would remain. “Protection is carried out by Russian specialists. Also, of course, primarily Kazakhstani law enforcement professionals,” he said.
