From September 22 to 24, the first world in the world in Er Eins (horses struggle) is held in Kyrgyzstan. This was reported by the news agency “Kabar” with reference to the National Federation of the struggle on the horses of Kyrgyzstan.
As noted by the President of the Federation Er Enish Nurlanbek Azigaliev, spectacular competitions are held at the hippodrome of the city of Cholpon-Ata and attract a large number of fans and tourists. Fighters from Kyrgyzstan, Kazakhstan, Uzbekistan, Afghanistan, China, Russia, Hungary, Turkey and Mongolia take part in the championship.
The event is supported by the Federation Er Enish, Directorate on National Sports at the Department of Physical Culture and Sports at the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Youth Policy of the Kyrgyz Republic. The direct leadership of the competition is assigned to the National Federation of the struggle on the horses of the Kyrgyz Republic.
Only men over 18 years old take part in the competition. Participants compete in weight categories – 60 kg, 70 kg, 80 kg, 90 kg, 100 kg, over 100 kg. In the absolute weight category, fighters weighing more than 80 kg can be performed. Fight time – 5 minutes.
The prize fund of the championship will be 16 thousand 500 dollars. The owner of the gold medal in each of the weight categories will receive $ 1,000, the silver medal will be awarded $ 750, and two bronze medalists – $ 500.
Er Eins is a traditional Kyrgyz struggle of riders. This discipline was generated by military needs and served military purposes. The key to victory in Er Eins are both the skills and power of the rider and his horse. The horse should be severe and strong, have stability, maneuverability, calm disposition, impeccable subordination to the rider and endurance.
International Federation of Er Enish was created in 2014.
Currently, ER Eins are held on a flat round platform. Two wrestlers, stripped to the waist, compete in the battle, they should have a “sash” (belt), a scarf, trousers made of strong material, boots, Kamcha should be in the hand.
At the beginning of the fight, horses on the command of the arbitrator approach the center of the circle. In order to win, the fighter needs to steal the opponent from the horse so that he touches the ground with any part of the body. If the difference in the battle reaches 10 points, then an early victory is awarded the leading athlete.
