“Large memories in small hearts”

With the support of Azercell Telekom, for which corporate social responsibility is an integral and important part of the activities, a social project entitled “Large memories in small hearts”.

The main goal of the project is to organize psychological training using art therapy methods for children of military personnel who died in the second Karabakh war. Also, the operator plans to publish a book that includes the best memories of children about their heroic fathers, both in digital and print formats. Azercell partner in this project is the company GID CSR Consulting.

It is expected that 300 children between the ages of 5 and 14 and their mom will take part in the “big memories in small hearts”. In connection with the conditions that have developed due to the COVID-19 coronavirus infection pandemic, trainings are online.

Trainings are held in several directions. “Art therapy” (therapy of visual art) will allow you to comfortably and freely express feelings hidden inside the child. Children who receive therapy with the help of such types of art as music, painting, dancing and literature will also be able to develop aesthetic aspects.

The purpose of the training tree “Wishes Tree” is to give participants confidence and awaken enthusiasm. With the help of this training it will be possible to provide psychological assistance to children and their parents. This training will help children who survived serious shocks, voice the psychological problems with which they face, and prevent more serious issues that may arise in the future. If during training the presence of children with special psychological problems, individual meetings will be organized with their closest relatives.

Successory Training includes meetings with celebrities and professionals who achieved success at the cost of overcoming large difficulties.

In the framework of the project, the memories of the children of the shekhid about their father-heroes will be collected in the book. A separate section of the book, which will be published both in printed and electronic formats, will be devoted to the babies of shekhid, who do not remember their fathers. This book will help that shechides live in memories and hearts of every person. The electronic version of the book will also be available in the Bookmate mobile application.

This project is only a small example of respectful and care for families of brave shekhids who gave their lives for the liberation of our lands in the name of a prosperous future of each Azerbaijani.
