The jury of the bucker premium was handed over to the Award of 2021 by the South African writer Daimon Hgguta for the Novel “Promise”, RIA Novosti reports.
“Promise” is dedicated to a white family living in South Africa. As a reward, the writer will receive 50 thousand pounds sterling. Ganguta nominated for the award for the third time: his novel “Good doctor” included in the short list in 2003, and “in the strange room” – in 2010.
Note that the Berechovsky Prize is one of the most prestigious awards in the world of English literature.
