In Stockholm, the Nobel Committee has declared the laureate of the Nobel Prize in Literature. They became the 73-year-old British writer of Tanzanian origin Abdulrazak Gurna.
Award is awarded with the wording “for an uncompromising and compassionate immersion in the consequences of colonialism and the fate of refugees in the abyss between cultures and continents.”
Last year, the American poetess Louise glitch was named the Nobel Prize Prize laureate.
