September 20 “On the fields” of the 78th session of the UN General Assembly, Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov held a meeting with the General Director of the IAEA Rafael Grossy.
This is stated in a statement by the press service of the Russian Foreign Ministry.
According to the statement, during the conversation, an exchange of views in the main areas of activity of the agency was held.
The safety issues of the Zaporizhzhya nuclear power plant (ZAES) were also discussed in detail.
The Russian Foreign Ministry noted that the attitude of the Russian side was confirmed to continue further interaction with the IAEA in order to ensure the normal functioning of the ZAES.
