Libya was covered by protests: demonstrators set fire to parliament

The demonstrators took the parliament in the eastern part of Libya – the city of Tobruk. They set fire to several rooms, reports Associated Press. The eastern part of Libya does not obey the Government of National Consent (Tripoli).

The head of the government of the national unity of Libya Abdelhamid Dbeib expressed solidarity with the protesters. In his opinion, everyone, including the government, must resign, the country needs to hold elections.
