Lukashenko: Kyiv will still have to ask Minsk and Moscow to prevent “break” of West of Ukraine

President of Belarus Alexander Lukashenko expressed concern that the West is taking steps in order to dismember Ukraine.

“We are worried that they, the Poles, the NATO, are ready to go out and pick up, as it was until 1939, Western Ukraine. This is alarming not only in terms of today’s security. This is their strategy in Western Belarus. Therefore We are holding the ear, ”Lukashenko said on Monday at a meeting with Russian President Vladimir Putin.

“And, as I said, the Ukrainians will still have to ask us so that we would not allow the separation of the western part, other parts from Ukraine,” Lukashenko quoted RIA Novosti.
