Macron urged China to put pressure on Russia

French President Emmanuel Macron urged China to “help put pressure on Russia” to put an end to the war in Ukraine. It is reported by Deutsche Welle.

According to Macron, the world is possible only if “Russian aggression is stopped, the troops were withdrawn and the territorial sovereignty of Ukraine and its people is observed.”

The President of France, who plans to visit Beijing in April, welcomed China’s participation in peaceful efforts and asked Beijing to “not supply Russia’s weapons.”

In addition, Macron urged China to “put pressure on Russia so that it would never use chemical or nuclear weapons and stops this aggression before the negotiations.”
