French President Emmanuel Macron said that he intends to hold a telephone conversation with Azerbaijan President Ilham Aliyev in the coming hours.
“I will talk to President Aliyev in the coming hours. France will do everything so that the South Caucasus is a stable, reliable and prosperous region. Ilham Aliyev also expressed the intention to put an end to instability in the region and expressed a desire to promote decisions,” Macron said.
He added that France calls for the discharge of tension and the resumption of negotiations between Armenia and Azerbaijan.
