The preliminary investigation in the criminal case against Major General Bakir Obrzhov, who is undergoing “Termen case”, was completed.
According to haqqin.az, the case will be considered by the Baku military court.
Note that in December 2021, the Prosecutor General’s Office made decisions on the resumption of criminal proceedings related to the Terter case. The acting head of the Office of ideological work and moral and psychological support of the Main Directorate of the Ministry of Defense of the Ministry of Defense, Major General Bekir Orudzhev, suspected of involvement in the crime, was arrested last year.
Obodzhov was prosecuted under articles 126.3 (intentional infliction of serious harm to health, which resulted in the death of the victim by negligence), 145.3 (illegal imprisonment), 293.3 (cruel, inhuman or degrading dignity of appeal or punishment, not considered torture, torture ), 341.2.2 (abuse of authority) and 341.2.3 of the Criminal Code of the AR and arrested by a court decision.
