Man tried to steal Lenin’s body

A drunken man was detained for trying to kidnap the body of Vladimir Lenin from the Mausoleum in the center of Moscow, TASS reported in power structures.

“The incident occurred on the night of February 6. The man was detained when he tried to open the mausoleum, where the body of Vladimir Lenin is located and abduct him. It was established that the detainee was intoxicated,” the agency’s interlocutor said.

According to him, an ambulance was called to the scene, doctors revealed a psychiatric disorder in the backdrop of intoxication in the detainee.
