In Turkey, the security forces detained 48 people on charges of looting in settlements injured as a result of an earthquake.
According to Turkish media, the suspects were detained in eight provinces of the republic. Interrogation of the detainees is underway, who took advantage of the difficult situation to rob houses and shops.
Earlier, Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan said that the state will punish the looters involved in robberies after earthquakes in Turkey.
