The law on the legalization of medical marijuana entered into force in Switzerland from the first day of August. Now citizens can get it according to a doctor’s prescription, Russian media reports, referring to the corresponding resolution adopted on June 22 by the country’s federal council.
Before the law entered into force, the appointment of medical marijuana was possible only with the exclusive permission of the Federal Public Health Department (OFSP).
