Croatia’s law enforcement agencies arrested the 92-meter Yacht of the People’s Department from the faction “Opposition Party – for Life” Viktor Medvedchuk in the city of Rijeka, reports RBC.
How to inform the publication, the arrest was imposed in accordance with the sanctions of the European Union, introduced against politicians and officials, which are associated with the Kremlin.
It is noted that now the arrested vessel will not be able to leave the port limits. At the same time, it is noted that the authorities imposed arrests to several more vessels that bind to the Russian authorities.
According to media reports, the 92-meter yacht Royal Romance is one of the five largest yachts in the world, which is used exclusively for the needs of its owners, and its annual maintenance repair and fuel costs ranges from 15 to 20 million dollars.
