The state must seize the property of private gas distribution organizations that sabotage the gasification program, said the deputy chairman of the Security Council Dmitry Medvedev at a meeting on the implementation of United Russia initiatives on social gasification of regions.
In Russia, there is a single gasification operator – Gazprom Gasification LLC (Gazprom’s structure of Gazprom Interregiongaz). In addition to Gazprom, subscribers, on behalf of a single operator, are connected by 13 regional gasification operators and 112 independent gas distribution organizations. These companies often conflict with Gazprom’s “daughter”, which leads to protracted disputes and breaks off the terms of gas. According to Medvedev, the property of the GRO, who are not ready to negotiate with a single operator, should be removed on the basis of a prosecutor’s act or a court decision, if they are not ready.
