A meeting of the Foreign Minister of the Strategic Dialogue “Central Asia – the Council of Cooperation of the Arab States of the Persian Gulf” in Tashkent was held in an open, constructive and friendly atmosphere. This was said by the Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of Uzbekistan Bakhromzhon Aloev at a briefing based on the results of the event.
According to him, a high level of participation in the forum is evidence of the growing authority of the format of the strategic dialogue “TRA-SSAGPZ”.
He noted that the meeting discussed the issues of strengthening mutually beneficial and comprehensive cooperation between the countries of Central Asia and the SSAGPZ in the political sphere, as well as in the field of security, trade, economics, investment, transport, logistics, environmental protection, and green energy , cultural and humanitarian and other areas.
The diplomat added that the meeting has a positive assessment of the implementation of the agreements reached at the summit of the heads of the state of the TRASSIAGPZ, held in Jidd on July 19, 2023.
The deputy minister indicated that the parties confirmed the determination to strengthen sustainable and promising cooperation based on common values and mutual interests.
following the results of the meeting, a joint statement was adopted.
The next meeting of the foreign ministers of strategic dialogue “Council of Cooperation Central Asia – Persian Gulf” will be held in Kuwait in 2026.
