Meta could steal a million user data

Meta Platforms could have a leak of data from at least one million users. This happened due to problems with the safety of applications downloaded from the App Store and Google Play, writes Bloomberg.

The company’s specialists have discovered more than 400 malicious services masking for photo editors, mobile games, VPN or health trackers. Programs invited customers to log in through Facebook. Thus, hackers gained access to personal pages and user data.

The director of META for the fight against cybehrosis David Agranovich noted that the exact number of victims has not yet been determined.
