Recently, persons engaged in fraud gains access to bank cards, calling from fake foreign numbers. With such a warning, the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Azerbaijan was made.
According to the post of press service of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, fraudsters call mostly elderly people, introducing bank employees. Then, offering various incentive campaigns, asked to provide data of bank cards, name, surname, patronymic, CVV code, and confirmation code. After receiving this data from the card accounts of the victims, cash is written off and assigned money.
MVD encourages citizens to be vigilant in such cases cases and report to the reference service “102” MVD.
