ISIL militants attacked Gweiran prison in the Syrian town of Al Hasaka, trying to free the prisoners who belonged to grouping, reports Reuters.
It is noted that terrorists penetrated from nearby areas and entered into battle with the internal security forces. In the army of Syrian democratic forces reported that they were trying to attempt to escape prisoners.
According to unconfirmed data, several prisoners were killed during the insurrection, but some prisoners still managed to escape. Locals argue that after the incident over the prison, United States coalition aircraft were noticed.
