Mingyachevir State University became winner of Erasmus+ program

The main goal of the project is to strengthen the entrepreneurial ecosystem in the relevant higher educational institutions of Azerbaijan, the development of entrepreneurial thinking and improve the innovative approach of academic groups and students. Events within the framework of the project are aimed at increasing innovative ideas in higher educational institutions, increasing practical components in the content of the educational process, expanding startup deeds and developing cooperation of universities-industrialism. In the process of implementing the project, the positive experience of partner universities representing the countries of the European Union will be studied, numerous trainings of employees of higher educational institutions of Azerbaijan are organized.

The Engage project will be implemented under coordinating and managing by Mingiachevir State University within 36 months. The initial budget of the project is 800 thousand euros.

The main beneficiaries of the project are 11 state and private universities in Azerbaijan. Also, the group of project organizations in Azerbaijan includes a national confederation of organizations of entrepreneurs (employers) and the Association for the Development of Women’s Entrepreneurship in Azerbaijan.

Universities of the five countries of the European Union are partners of the Engage project: Tallinn University (Tallin University of Technology); Swedish Royal Technological University (Kth Royal Institute of Technology); Lisbon University (University of Lisbon); Polytechnic University of Catalonia (Polytechnic University of Catalonia); Polish University of Economics (WSG University of Economy).
