Russian air defense (air defense systems) shot down the Ukrainian drone over the Bryansk region.
“On January 20, at about 06:30 Moscow time, an attempt by the Kyiv regime was suppressed to make a terrorist attack using an unmanned aerial vehicle of the aircraft type in objects in the Russian Federation. The unmanned aerial vehicle attendants was destroyed over the territory of the Bryansk region,” the Ministry of Defense said in a statement by the Ministry of Defense RF.
Meanwhile, the Governor of the Bryansk region Alexander Bogomaz said that there were no injured and destruction as a result of the attack. “The unmanned aerial vehicle of the aircraft type has been destroyed over the Klintsovsky district. There are no victims and destruction. Operational and emergency services work on the spot,” he wrote in his Telegram channel.
In turn, the air forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine reported that at night Ukrainian air defense shot down 4 out of 7 BPLs within four regions of Ukraine.
Air Defense worked within the Odessa, Nikolaev, Cherkasy and Khmelnitsky regions, the Armed Forces of Ukraine said.
In turn, the head of the Kharkov ova, Oleg Sinegubov, said in the Telegram channel about the shelling of Kupyansk in the Kharkov region.
The attack on Kupyansk took place at about 05:00 using artillery. The result of the shelling was damaged by a residential building. On the roof they found a shell that did not detonate. Information about the victims was not received, Sinegubov said.
According to him, over the past day, Russian troops from artillery and mortars fired at 15 settlements of the Kharkov region.
