The day after the missile strike in the Ukrainian capital, where the UN Secretary General was on this moment, the Russian side proposed an explanation of its actions.
According to the briefing of the Russian Ministry of Defense, the purpose of the strike was the production houses of the Assembler of Artem, writes the Air Force.
However, the Kyiv authorities say that Russian missiles were in a residential building, as a result of which at least one person died – the rescuers found his body under the rubble on Friday morning. Another 10 people were injured.
The fact that the goal of the Russian strike could be the company “Artem” was reported on Thursday by the correspondent of the British newspaper Guardian Lorenzo Tondo. He wrote that Russian missiles got into a residential building, but whether they got into the building of the enterprise is unknown.
The Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation also said that:
– three electrical substations in the areas of railway units in Ukraine were destroyed with missile strikes;
– artillery, missile troops and aviation struck on dozens of Ukrainian military facilities;
-Air Defense Fulls shot down 13 Ukrainian drones, including Bayractar-TB2 near the Russian-Ukrainian border.
