The Ministry of Emergency Situations turned to the population in connection with forecasted weather forecasters with a sharp change in weather conditions in Azerbaijan.
“According to the National Hydrometeorological Service, starting from today and until December 21, a sharp change in weather conditions is predicted on the territory of Azerbaijan, rains are expected, snowfall in mountainous and foothill areas, the air temperature will decrease, a strong wind will blow in some areas. In emergency situations, it is addressed to comply with the relevant safety rules. In particular, in the cold time, the overload of the mains, the use of faulty, non -standard or made by a artisanal method of gas and electrical heating devices, negligence can lead to fire, the appearance of carbon monoxide. We urge not to use faulty, non -standard or heating devices manufactured by a handicraft, thereby overload the power supply, ”the report said.
The Ministry of Emergencies recommends, when visiting mountainous areas, to find out in advance to find out the weather forecast from official structures, if possible not to leave the settlement in frosty and snowy weather. In connection with the predicted strong winds in a number of areas, including in Baku and on Apheron, it is not recommended to be close to light structures and temporary structures, buildings and advertising shields, not standing under electrical and wires, high trees, the ministry advises.
