Ministry of Emergency Situations is awarded a certificate of international level

The State Agency for Safe Labor in Industry and Mining of the Ministry of Emergency Situations assigned the International Certificate of ISO 37001 – “System for Combating Corruption”.

ISO 37001 created by the International Standardization Organization (ISO) in 2016 and is the only generally accepted standard in the fight against bribery.

The application of the certificate gives the agency the advantages in identifying and managing the risk of bribery related to its activities, compliance with international standards in this area, as well as the application of the best practices and the requirements of the legislation. At the same time, he assures the interested parties in the fact that the agency took positive steps to prevent bribery.

The certificate certifies compliance with the management system of counteracting the agency corruption. ISO 37001 standard, which includes the best methods of combating bribery, also provides the basis for increasing the transparency of management.

In order to achieve this standard, the stages of employees involve the training and application of the control system for combating corruption in their field of activity, as well as the assessment of the use of the control system of counteracting corruption in the agency. As a result of the work of the Denetic International Certification and Surveillance Services, accredited by the ANSI (ANAB) National Accreditation Council, one of the largest non -governmental accreditation bodies in the United States, confirmed the issued certificate.

The State Agency for Safe Labor in Industry and Mining of Emergency Situations of the Ministry of Emergency Situations is one of the first state bodies that have implemented this standard into its activities, according to the plan of action approved by Decree of the President of Azerbaijan dated April 4, 2022 No. 3199 “On Strengthening the Struggle with corruption for 2022-2026 “.
