Since 2011, resident training has been introduced in Azerbaijan. Taking into account the numerous appeals of doctors who received postgraduate education abroad, on April 29, 2022, the Minister of Health signed an order “On confirmation of the level of knowledge and professional competence of medical and pharmaceutical workers abroad and conducting relevant educational events.” Based on the order of the Minister, by resolution of the College of the Ministry of Health of June 13, 2022, the “Rules for conducting an exam in confirming the level of knowledge and professional competence of medical and pharmaceutical workers who have undergone training abroad”.
According to the above order and resolution, on January 23-24 of this year, the Ministry of Health conducted the first stage of exams for doctors who passed the clinical residency abroad and, until December 7, 2022, filled out the application to participate in the “Electronic Medical Services” section on the official website of the Ministry of Health.
through the service “Personal Account”, the exam participants the next day were informed about its results.
Only those health workers, whose authenticity of the Ministry of Health, can take part in the exam, can take part in the exam. Doctors admitted to the exam by the commission by a commission of the commission are issued a “certificate of admission to the exam”, which should be sent in electronic form through the personal account no later than 5 days before the exam. Information about the date and place of the exam in the specialty are entered in the “Certificate for the Examination”.
Exams of health workers registered to participate in the exam until December 7, 2022, continue. For doctors who did not participate in the first round of exams, additional information about the dates of exams will be provided.
