In his interview to the website of the Ministry of Health, Gannadi talked about how people with diabetes mellitus carry the coronavirus: “In patients with timely compensation for diabetes, the coronavirus goes away normally, and in those with uncompensated, uncontrolled diabetes, COVID-19 leads to Serious and serious complications. A sharp increase in blood sugar leads to complications such as diabetic ketoacidosis, diabetic nephropathy, diabetic retinopathy. For this reason, diabetics are in second place after patients with cardiovascular diseases in mortality from COVID-19. ” / p>
