Ministry of Internal Affairs appealed to citizens 15 April

The Ministry of Internal Affairs of Azerbaijan (MIA) appealed to citizens.

The press service of the Ministry of Internal Affairs was reported that in order to prevent the proliferation of coronavirus infection (COVID-19), control and preventive measures were carried out in places with increased risk of infection, in public transport – metro, buses and pedestrian crossings.

“Police conducts preventive conversations with citizens who do not use respiratory masks at the metro stations, in pedestrian crossings and buses, explains to them the consequences of coronavirus infection and existing sanitary and hygienic requirements,” the statement says.

The appropriate article of the Codex on Administrative Offenses provides for the imposition of a fine on persons who are not implementing the recommendations on the prevention of COVID-19, approved by the Decree of the Cabinet of Ministers.

“Once again we appeal to citizens with a request to comply with quarantine rules to prevent the spread of infection, not to be indifferent to their health and health surrounding,” the statement is noted.
