Russia and China has developed a special model of interstate cooperation. This was stated by Russian Prime Minister Mikhail Mishustin at the 28th regular meeting of the heads of government of Russia and China.
“In the current geopolitical conditions, the relations of Russia and China successfully passed the strength test. They demonstrate a high degree of stability. The beginning of the year, mutual trade increased by almost a third. Moreover, the majority – and this is over 90% – calculations are carried out in national currencies, which says About almost complete dedollarization of economic ties. We have ahead of schedule the task set by the leaders of our states to increase bilateral turnover, ”said Mishustin.
According to him, horizons and investment cooperation are confidently expanding.
Implemented over 40 joint initiatives with Chinese partners. We also launch new projects – in the automotive industry, in the mining and gas chemical sectors, ”he said.
The further strengthening of relations between Russia and the PRC meets the long -term interests of both countries, added Mishustin.
Following the results of the 28th regular meeting of the heads of government of Russia and China, documents were signed. Among them: the protocol of the tenth meeting of the intergovernmental Russian-Chinese commission on investment cooperation, the protocol of the twentieth meeting of the intergovernmental Russian-Chinese commission on energy cooperation, the memorandum between the Federal Customs Service (Russian Federation) and the Main Customs Administration of the People’s Republic of People’s Republic on cooperation in the field of intellectualization of activities customs authorities of Russia and China, a memorandum of understanding between the Federal Antimonopoly Service (Russian Federation) and the Main State Administration for the Monitoring and Regulation of the Market of the People’s Republic of China for 2024-2025, etc.
