Moldavian biathlete took second place at European Championship

Moldavian biathlete Alina Stremous became the vice-champion of Europe in an individual race for 15 km.

According to Moldavian Gossmi, the 28-year-old Stremous lagged behind the race champion, Norwegian Marren Kirkede by 46.5 seconds. Its offlet was 42.12.7 minutes.

For the Stremous, this is the second success in the individual race at the European Championship. In 2022, she also took second place in the individual, then the 4th in the sprint, and won the persecution. And two more weeks later at the Olympics she took a high 10th place in the sprint.

Stremos is the second in the history of the Republic of Moldova as a winner of the European Biathlon Championship.

The European Biathlon Championship is held in the city of Brazno-Osrblie in Slovakia. The Moldavian biathlete has yet to perform in a sprint of 7.5 km.
