Moldavian passenger plane was detained in Turkey

On Saturday, June 4, Airbus A321 Air Moldova Airlines was detained at Turkey airport. The plane was performed by the flight of Antalya – Chisinau.

According to Jurnal.md, the plane was supposed to land yesterday in Chisinau 05:10. However, the Turkish airport did not give permission to take off. According to the Turkish side, the plane was detained due to accumulated debts for airport fees, fuel, maintenance, etc. In total, the debt is estimated at 200 thousand dollars.

Air Moldova confirmed the restrictions on the operation and departure of aircraft from the Antalya Airport, but claim that they do not have debts to the Turkish provider.

The company said that they are doing everything possible to solve this situation of the situation.
