Moldova and Netherlands discussed ways to expand trade and economic cooperation

Prime Minister of Moldova Dorin Republic held a meeting with the Foreign Minister of the Netherlands Hanke Bryuins Slot, Moldupres reports.

The priorities established by the Government of Moldova, the reform program implemented in the republic to ensure the economic development of the country and European integration.

The delegations of the two countries also affected the situation with security at the regional level and the possibilities of expanding the Moldovan-Niderland trade and economic cooperation.

Republic noted that support provided by the Netherlands promotes the consolidation of various key sectors in Moldova.

The head of the Moldovan Cabinet also highly appreciated the support provided by the Netherlands from Ukraine.

Thus, the Moldovan authorities can focus on the development of the country, based on four priority areas: growth of economics and well -being, ensuring peace and security, reforming the justice and the fight against corruption, as well as the accession of the Republic of Moldova to the European Union, the politician noted.

“Europe means peace, security and prosperity. This is a sample by which we modernize our country, and the main goal to which we go to an accelerated pace,” said Dorin Republic.

At the same time, according to the head of the Moldovan Cabinet, Chisinau pays special attention to restoring the economy and attracting foreign investment in the national economy to create new jobs and improve the quality of life of people.

In this context, the prime minister spoke about the efforts of the executive branch to create a safe and predictable business environment for investors and mentioned the possibilities that Moldova offers in promising areas.

These include the energy and financial, pharmaceutical sector, the field of information technology and electronics.

In turn, the Foreign Minister of the Netherlands emphasized that its country will remain a reliable partner of the Republic of Moldova in efforts to modernize the country, attract investment and achieve the European agenda.

“Today’s realities show how important the republic is for the EU. We will be near you and will help to master all the opportunities that you offer,” said the slot.

The parties also discussed the Moldovan-Niderland cooperation in the economic sphere and recalled that on June 28-30, the Netherlands will be held in the framework of the days of Moldova.
