One of the iconic religious and cultural objects of Turkey – the monastery Panagia managed to visit 56,111 people from the beginning of the year.
The monastery complex, built by cutting the rocks in the Karadag Valley in the area of the Mach of the Province of Trabzon, is blurred at an altitude of about 300 metro above the corner of the sea.
I managed to restore restoration work in the monastery, initiated about 7 years ago, were completed in January 2023.
The historical monastery managed, also known among the people as “The Mother of God (mountains)” over the past 5 months after the opening, 56,111 people visited.
The temple complex continues to attract the attention of both local and foreign tourists. So, the Turks Khalil Akjaz, who lived in Germany, said that he went on a tour of the Black Sea region with a group of 10 people, and the monastery managed to be the first stop.
