More and more schools in Azerbaijan are connected to high-speed Internet

Works on connecting new educational institutions to the Azerbaijani educational network by high-speed fiber-optic communication channels. By the end of this year, it is expected to ensure fiber-optic connection to the Internet 478 new educational institutions, which covers more than 435,000 students and more than 34,000 teachers out of 50 cities and regions of the country, said in the Ministry of Education.

Providing fiber-optic connection to the Internet will increase the data transfer rate in schools, create opportunities for new Wi-Fi zones, as well as for connecting new computer equipment in classes and thereby expand the internal network. In addition, it will be possible to organize training in schools in an innovative format, to conduct remote occupations in continuous mode, as well as use a wide range of use of interactive tools during lessons.
