More than 14.7 thousand remain flooded in Russian Federation

In the Russian Federation, more than 14.7 thousand residential buildings and almost 29 thousand household plots remain flooded in the Russian Federation.

as of the morning, in total in the Orenburg region, 19,727 household plots and 12,361 residential buildings are flooded, of which 34 apartment buildings.

In the Kurgan region, on April 23, 2161 residential buildings and 3405 cottage houses, 6 low-water bridges and 11 sections of roads remain flooded in seven municipalities, the press center of the Russian State Committee forces in the Region said.

In April, in the Orenburg region of the Russian Federation, spring floods began to intensively increase the water level in the rivers. On the evening of April 5, the protective bulk dam introduced in 2010 in Orsk. Later, the situation was aggravated in other regions of the country, including the Kurgan, Tyumen, Tomsk region and the Republic of Bashkortostan.
