In Greece over the past day, 46 foci of forest fires broke out due to the heat and strong winds.
The Greece Fire Service statement says that in the coming days for many regions of the country, a warning was made about the “high risk of forest fires.”
The statement stated that the meteorological conditions in the Attic region, which also includes the capital of Athens, increased the risk of forest fires.
The peak of heat in the country is expected on July 20.
