Moscow accuses Ukraine in shelling of tank farm in Belgorod

The Ministry of Defense of Russia in the evening on Friday first commented on the intended blow to the tank farm in the Belgorod border with Ukraine.

The Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation stated that “two Ukrainian helicopters Mi-24” caused a blow to the Nefteubase in Belgorod. According to the official representative of the department of Major General Igor Konashenkov, on April 1, at about 5:00 pm MSK MI-24 flew into the Russian airspace “at the extremely low height” and caused a rocket strike. He came along on the outskirts of the city “Civil Object of Storage of Petroleum products.” As a result, some tanks were damaged and tanned.

“I want to emphasize that from this object, the supply of only civil transport was carried out. There is no relation to the Russian armed forces of the oilfubaz,” said Konashenkov.

Earlier, a fire in the Nefiberian began in Belgorod, the governor of the region Vyacheslav Grejkov in Telegram said. According to him, two employees were injured. Later, the mayor of Anton Ivanov said that the workers of the refinery were not injured. Gladkov called the cause of “airfare from two helicopters of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, which went into the territory of Russia at a low height,” writes RBC.

Ukraine has not yet confirmed, but did not deny the fact of applying a blow from the oil grinder.
