Mountain gorillas are guarded in tropical forest Uganda

In the National Park of Bwindy, located in the tropical forests of Uganda, mountain gorillas, which are at risk of disappearance, live.

For the first time, mountain gorillas were discovered in 1902 by Captain Robert von Bering.

The number of mountain gorillas has about 1000, most of which live in the Bwindy National Park, which is included in the UNESCO World Heritage List.

The rest of the mountain gorillas live under the protection in the National Park of the Gorill of Mgaching in Uganda, the National Park of the Volcano in Rwanda and the Virung National Park in the Democratic Republic of the Congo.

As a result of poaching, mountain gorillas were included in the category of “disappearance of disappearance” in the red list of disappearing views of the World Nature Security Union in 2018. As a result of the measures taken in recent years, the number of mountain gorillas began to increase.

Uganda attaches great importance to the protection of mountain gorillas, since they make up 50 percent of tourism income. The authorities carry out this work when coordinating the Office for the Protection of Mountain Gorillas. Behind the mountain gorillas, you can not observe for a while in their natural habitat within the framework of safari-tourism.

ANADOLA filming group was filmed on the video of the gorilla “Popza”, consisting of 17 members – a male, three females and cubs.

The head of the family is called Magar, his nickname Silverbek. Magara and his family feed on fruits, leaves and bark of trees.

While the male is sleeping, females care about kids, and the cubs play among themselves.

When approaching the gorillas family, which can be observed in a natural habitat, at a distance of less than 5 meters, no contact occurs. It is forbidden to eat and talk loudly next to the gorillas. They can be seen no more than an hour with a limited number of visitors.

Mountain Gorillas, behind which Uganda officials are watching daily, are carefully guarded from adverse natural conditions and poaching.
