Muslims of Germany are concerned about growth of attacks on mosque

The frequent cases of attacks on mosques and sending letters with threats in them in Western countries, primarily in Germany, are concerned with the Muslim community of Europe.

This was in an interview with the Anadola agency said Kemal Ergun, chairman of the Islamic community of Milli Görüş (IGMG, “National Worldview”) with the head office in the German Cologne.

He stated that there is a tendency to further increase in the number of such incidents.

The agency’s interlocutor noted that members of right -wing groups and terrorist organizations are usually behind such provocations.

“In addition to attacks, our mosques and institutions also receive letters with threats. These are mainly messages from the terrorist organization National Socialist underground (NSU), which is involved in the numerous killings of our community in the past. But they still cannot be intimidated us, ”he said.

The head of IGMG expressed regret with a low level of disclosure of crimes on the basis of religious hatred in Germany.

According to Ergun, the organization headed by him called on the authorities and politicians of the relevant countries to take measures to solve this problem.

“This is a serious problem. We expect the security authorities to carefully study all the evidence and identify the perpetrators. Politicians should also more actually include the issue of such attacks on the agenda. Because they are based on racism. Racism, unfortunately, reality in Germany. The fact that the Racist and fascist political party of Germany is the second most powerful in the country according to the latest surveys is sufficient to show how dangerous we go, ”he concluded.
