Muslims of Russia asked to build more mosques in Moscow

Co-chairman of the Council of the Muftis of Russia, the chairman of the spiritual administration of the Muslims of the Asian part of Russia Nafigulla Ashirov on the radio station “says Moscow” touched the problem of lack of religious buildings in Moscow.

“The number of Muslims in Moscow has increased significantly, respectively, four mosques do not satisfy the need of religious people, and they are forced to pray that in the rain, then under the snow, then on the sidewalks,” added Ashirov, explaining that to meet the needs of believers for Beginning will be enough to build one or two mosques, optionally in the center of the Russian capital, and even in the near Moscow region.

“For more than 15 years, no place for the mosque has not been allocated so far. What is the reason, we do not know. Mosques in Russia are built by the forces of the believers themselves – Muslim patrons,” explained Ashirov, marked financial attack.
