NASA will send two missions to explore Venus

The US National Aeronautics and Space Research (NASA) intends to send two missions to study Venus. This is stated in the organization’s statement, TASS reports.

“NASA chose two new missions to Venus – a neighbor-planet nearby in the ground. The goal of missions is to understand how Venus became a world that looks like hell when she has so much [physical] characteristics similar to the characteristics of our planet”, – the statement says.

It is clarified that the missions will be shipped in 2028-2030.

As reported by NASA, as part of the mission called Davinci +, the composition of the atmosphere of Venus will be studied to understand how it was formed and developed, as well as to determine if there was once on the planet Ocean. The purpose of the second mission called Veritas will be mapping the surface of Venus to study the geological history of the planet, as well as determine the reasons why Venus has developed differently from the earth. The preparation of each mission is planned to send about $ 500 million

The planned NASA missions to Venus will become the first missions to study this planet since 1978.
